Default Snow plow mount for new 850

Wife just bought me a new 2015 850xp touring as a surprise for our 15 year anniversary. Yah she rocks! So I'd like to to keep the glacier 2 plow I have since it's still in great shape. Does anyone know if the plow mount will fit from my 2007 sportsman to the new xp or can I at least just buy a mount that will work with my old blade.

I think you'd have to buy a new mount for it. The chassis are different. I would think Polaris has something that would allow you to mount it on the new machine.

well found out through dealer finally that No I cant and I'd have to buy a whole new blade and mount. Bummer! Polaris doesn't even offer any sort of mount to fit an older blade to a newer machine unless I want to fab something. guess I'll keep using the old ride for plowing and maybe create something over the winter

I would want to do it that way anyways. Why wear and tear your new machine as a work mule if you have a 500 that will push snow just the same.

Once in low range a 850 will not push any stronger since both will lose traction well before wheel turning power.

Another option is sell the old plow to help with the cost of a new plow.

Congratulation , your in the big league now.
