Hey guys,

I have a 1996 king quad 300 that I took out for a ride today after having it sit for a while. Took it out in 2wd, then 4x4 then diff lock (no diff lock mod) and then back down, but when I tried to go from 2wd to 4x4 the second time, the front wheels weren't spinning and I couldn't get it back into 2wd.

Currently have it sitting in the garage again to see if it maybe just froze up but I doubt that seeing as I was only out for 15 minutes.

Any suggestions please!

By the sounds of it, if it wont go into 4x4 from 2wd, try straightening the wheels and letting the quad roll while idling, that always work for me. If it wont come out of 4x4, then there could be something jammed in the mechanism with the cable at the diff or by the selector or the drive train has some kind of a bind on it.
