So I bought a non running piece of junk atv for 100$ with ramps... Owner said some engine problem I didn't get a chance to turn it over when I bought it so no idea what's wrong. Finally got the pull starter to work and it turns over good until a certain point and it stops and will not turn over any further. I'm pretty it is out of time because I see the intake valve coming down and the piston coming up and it stops (looking through the spark plug hole). So I take off the left side of the engine removing the stator and the flywheel with the starter gears and I can't get the timing chain off. I've took off the tensioner and I have removed the cover over the cam shaft too and tried to take off that gear but nothing is working. I need help ASAP!
