I have a 89'-90' LT250 and would like to show and share how I replace the lower ball joints with out paying the $250 per A-Arm.


you will need
1. cut off wheel
2. ball joint (I used one off of an 1980's Mercedes from Napa)
3. tap to match threads
4. small round file
how to
1. cut off the old ball joint socket
2. drill top of tubing to match the rest of the tube
3.tap the tubing
4. screw in the new ball joint
5. attach ball joint to spindle and mark the pinch bolt path on the top dowel (make sure it is tight against the hole)
6. file just enough to slide the pinch bolt in and clamp down tight (I suggest a couple of tack wields on the up facing dowel)
