I live just outside of Chicago .I have a 83 Aspencade and a 2010 Buell XB12X . Was into snowmobiling but the season was so unpredictable I am going to sell them this winter.
My sister like to quad with her husband and the trail system has been steadily growing larger in Wisconsin. So the time has come for my wife and I to give it a try.
Just buying some starter Bikes. As I rode dirt bikes for many years and just sold my DRZ400 so I am up for this.
I really prefer the sport 2 wheel drives .I think this is because dirt bike riding. the four wheel drive just look so utilitarian.
I like to off road full size when possible, My new rides a $500 87 lt230 in great shape and what need replacing i have replaced, And a 2003 DS 650 $500 in poor shape but supposedly the motors in running Condition. Looks like some kid was pulling it apart to redo it and lost interest and bought a new one. Other toys a 1987 4 winns boat. My sister just told my mother I only buy toys to fix them not to ride. I was insulted she said that, But you know what! She may be partly right. But payback is coming when I dust her on the trail...
