If you run slow it will run all day but, if you run it fast it will go about a mile
And die. It back fires when it dies. Wait a couple seconds and starts right
Back up and it will run about another mile and die. Always starts right back.

 

Try running with the gas cap off to see if its a gas venting issue , it happened to my 350 Big Bear.

Could it have something to do with my main drive
Belt slipping causing my transmission to over heat
And shutting it off? It's a 04 and belt never been
Replaced. I can run high RPMs for 10 mins and it
Does not quit.

 

Belt would not cause it to stall. Another thing that happened to my 350 Big Bear was it had a ignition coil that would that would quit after it ran for awhile and once it cooled back down it would run again.

 

I tend to go with the coil being weak and when it gets hot quits.
