Default carburetor air vent hose

Hi all,
I bought a 2006 Vinson 500 and got it running pretty well. I found a hose not attached to anything under the seat. When I put my finger over it, the ATV stalls. I traced it back to the carb and checked the manual to find it is an air vent hose. I don't see anywhere obvious where it might go and the manual doesn't say. Can anyone tell me where this hose is suppose to go?

If in doubt route it up out of the way of any moisture entry.Zip tying them to cables, etc helps.

On the Eiger, a similar quad, it routes up near the air intake above the tank. Just make sure it is routed upward.
