Hey everyone,
I have just recently purchased a 2001 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 and pick it up on Thursday and I have not had the chance to look at the manual to see what types of oils that I can use in it. I would like to know if I have to use Arctic Cat oil or if I can use Castrol GTX motor oil. I would like to also know what weights I can use. Also if someone could give me an oil filter number for it.

Thanks Alot

BS

For warranty purposes you should use only AC brand products. The AC factory filter is spendy but until the warranty period is up it should be the only filter you use. As far as oil is concerned Dakotacat listed a great info page titled "Auto Oil VS Motorcyle Oil lik's". Check this out, It has some great info! I printed it out myself for future reference.
