what is the best bipe to liven up the top end on a mojave

 

I can only speak from my experience, but I was not real happy with the Cobra 4-stroke system. It did boost top end but I feel like it lost a lot on the bottom thru mid. I changed the core and went to the "silent" core and I was pretty happy with the overall performance when it was packed tight, but the packing only lasts for about one day of good hard riding. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. I put the K&N filter and jet kit on mine somewher in between the core swapping and a few weeks ago I finally got sick and tired of the hassel of the Cobra and put the stock exhaust back on. My point? I would recommend the Filter/jet kit upgrade first. You will see a signifigant differance and you can get both for about $100. As far as the pipe goes, I think my next one will be a tuneable disc type like the supertrap or the white bros E- series. Just my opinion.
