I was riding my T4 and at the end of the ride, the throttle was wanting to stay wide open for 4-5 secs after I let off. I was very concerned, and I went though the whole bike and the throttle assembly worked flawless.

I talked to a few other guys about it, and right away they said "you are low on fuel"! They were right, every time I get low on gas it revs forever, I fill it up and it stops doing it. This bike only does this when I am low on fuel, as soon as I fill the tank up I runs perfect.

Has anyone seen this? And more importantly, why does this happen?

I believe it has something to do with the fuel mixture leaning out as the tank starts to get empty. I know it sounds strange but I think just about any two stroke motor will do this. My Tecate does it as well as my KX 125 and my weed eater for that matter. I can alway tell when it is low on fuel because it will run like a spotted ape just before it quits.

I hope this sheds some light on your topic.

2 much!
