Just unplug the black wire from the limiter and it should sole the problem. You can have full power in reverse without having to push the over ride button. You may need to push it to engage the awd though. Item #39 is the module. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse If you don't like having to push the override for awd you can bypass this also as some have done.

"Trace wires from the override button (gray/white & gray/orange) Cut the gray/orange and tape up both ends. Cut the gray/white and tape up the end which goes to the override button. Connect the other end of the gray/white to the red/white (ignition supplied 12v)"

Don't overlook a worn belt or clutch problem that can cause some of this also.

Guide buttons wear on the front and ramp buttons wear on the rear clutch. Hold one sheath on the rear clutch and turn the other one and letnit slip back. If you hear any grinding or feel roughness, the ramp buttons may need to be replaced.Item #17. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Worst case ones look like this. Plus if the belt has more than 1 1/2" drop when pulled down from the top,it's worn out.
