Default 2011 sportsman 550 EPS problem

I have a 2011 sportsman 550 in my shop that the EPS pulls to the left. It doesn't assist in any other direction, and it doesn't operate with the key on and not running for 30 seconds as the factory manual says it should. I have run thru the diagnostic flow chart checking the voltages at both connectors and they are correct. At this point the flow chart says to connect it to the Digital Wrench and reset the EPS. Is there any way to reset this without hauling it to the dealer, ie. disconnecting the battery and grounding a wire to discharge a capacitor?

Most problems I've read about them is about people having to repack connectors as contacts were corroded from moisture.Plus some mentioned having had to replace power steering relays. You could try disconnecting power, packing connectors with electrical grease and see if that helps. If not it could be a relay. I didn't have the pleasure of having to trouble shoot one myself before I retired..
