Default $4,200 for 2006 rincon 680 w/plow- fair price?

Looking to get my first ATV and found one locally - is this a fair price? Looks to be in great condition and only issue is LCD does not show speed. Has 50" plow and winch.

Total newbie so any help much appreciated!

Thanks,

-sig

Honda point out the 680 is a leisure Quad, not a utility machine. It is unsuited to ploughing, but, if you just want to clear your drive, it should be OK. It is made for trail riding so, if you want it for that, it will be fine. I've no idea if $4,200 is good, from this side of the Atlantic. We don't buy or sell them, as our customers are Farmers and need utility Quads.

Not a bad deal for a Rincon, figure the plow and winch are worth $600-$700 so asking about $3500 for the quad. It won't be the best choice for plowing since it doesn't have a low range in the transmission or a very low first gear either. But it would probably work and its a capable trail machine too. I paid just under $3000 for my Grizzly which does have a dedicated low range and noticably more power than the Rincon. I would rather have it any day over a Rincon. A Suzuki King Quad 700 or Polaris Sportsman 500 or bigger would be another good choice for all around use and would probably be in the same price range.

Only problem is it has only 3 speed auto tranny and even the 1st gear is not a low granny gear like the Foreman , that's why its tow capacity is only 850lb vs 1200lb for the smaller motored 475cc Foreman.
Not a power house for a 680cc it has the same power as most 550s.

I seen a 500 scrambler plow snow so I would think the Rincon would do a ok job. I'm from Canada so I can,t tell if that's a good price in the states.
In Canada that would be a great deal.
