Cabs,plastic and front bumpers did change on the 05 models versus the 04.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Don't know if that would effect your plow mounting or not.

On their website they have a plow mount that fits 500 Sportsman H.O. & EFI from 2003-2013 but nothing for an '02 500. I don't know if there's any difference. To the best of my knowledge 2001-2004 were the same. https://www.cyclecountry.com/mid-mou...sportsman.html
