I have a Linhai 2x4 300cc Bighorn ATV that has a cracked cylinder head. The engine code is "173MN". The head I have is stamped "173" on it. It has a 72.5mm bore. I have seen lots of the heads for the 260cc/69mm/70mm bore, but they are stamped '170'. I have assumed that those heads will not work. Does anyone know where I can get the right one? I have a few ebay vendors that claim the same head will fit on a 260cc/300cc, but I do not believe them. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

 

If you haven't already found one, the 260 and 300 head assemblies are NOT compatible. They have separate Linhai part numbers. The 260 is 22401a and the 300 is 22401b. There is one posted on ebay from China if you search "linhai head". It states the Linhai part number and your engine code number as well. I hope this helps.
