Hi all.

I have sat out of the whole quad riding experience for eight years. I recently purchased a Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4 and LOVE IT! I used to ride frequently and owned a Yamaha Warrior. It was a great quad. But the Scrambler is 10x the quad that one was. The 500 eats up and spits out anything I throw it at! Love this quad! I just got back from a fantastic trip to Waynoka, OK. I never realized how much I missed riding. Too much adrenalin, fun, and great times with all my riding buddies. I am very impressed with the Scrambler and what it can do. In fact, I am so sold on Polaris, my wife will be getting one in the not too distant future! Won't she be surprised!
I have been lurking around the board and enjoy reading all the posts and absorbing all the info. I hope to discover all sorts of great stuff here. Scramble on...

Dan

welcome to the forums, the Scrambler is a kick butt ATV. yeah it can get interesting in the forum, people are VERY opinionated about ATV's big time, it rivals snowmobilers. But generally we are a helpful bunch. don't let some people's posts bother you, some people just want to bash and cause trouble. I had a 1987 Warrior decent machine but you are right no comparison to a 500 Scrambler.

Congrads!!! I too am picking up a scrambler 500 tommorow. I all ready have a 400 but have been looking for a 500 for a while and finally found one. I can't wait, they are awsome machines. If you have any questions just ask them on this forum. There are some really educated individuals that can answere almost anything.(not me)

Welcome to the forum,
If you just want all round fun then its for sure that you bought the best quad there is out there.
I have the same quad as you and I owned a Wolverine before it was a good quad but not a patch on the Scrambler, but get ready to maintain that puppy, cause goin fast over the bumps is hard on any machine and these machines do it fast.
Ride on.
Later

These forum's CAN get pretty defensive, but it is always best to try and stay out of it. But, I do admit I HAVE gotten into it before with people, and everytime I look back at it, I always think to myself, "how could I be such an dumb-***"! Anyway, i'm sure you will have a great time with your scrambler!

Welcome Dan
I am sure you will like the Scram500 4x4 it is a good bike the reason I kike it is because it give you such a diverse riding clan you can out with the 4x4's and do just as good as them most of the time and you can ride with the sports crowd too.
I have been trouble free for over a year and a half keep up the regular up-keep and everything should be alright.
