Default 04 atp 500 rear wheels locked in neutral not running

I am wanting to purchase an 04 atp 500 but has vibration in low range at high speed and rear wheels won't turn when not running. I can't push it. Only has 1700 miles on it.

Vibration could be as simple as tire balance if it has tire sealant or may need tie rods or a-arm bushings, etc. No big deal on any of that. Are you not able to get the machine in neutral so the machine will roll? If so,problem could be in the exterior gear quadrant that many had problem with over the years, mainly from water and corrosion on the shift gears.Or could be a problem in the gear case itself. Just use this for a guide as it's for one that doesn't have problems like you describe and go from there. Kelley Blue Book If you like working on machines, can get it at a good price,up to you..Plus I'd get a good manual..2004 Polaris ATP 500 Service Manual PDF Download
