Where to get aftermarket brake pads?
#1
Need new rear brake pads for 2001 Trail Boss but nobody seems to carry them. Does anyone know where I should look? Do they use same pads on other machines that I could cross reference?
Thanks for any help, BK.

The brake pads on the 2001 trail boss are the same as the 2000 models with concentric drive (single pin). Call Shadetree Outdoors at 1-888-shadetree and order them. They are around $35 for the pair. Be sure to tell them it is the single pin model. The pads are sintered metal pads and last pretty good.

Nobody in the world currently makes pads like Gary Box.He makes 100% BRASS brake pads for our Polaris ATVs.
If you mud alot like myself, than the brass pads are the way to go.They will AT LEAST outlast ANY other pad [sintered or not] by 2-1 and they cost about the same as the sintered pads.If you have further interest, let me know,I'll give you Garys e-mail address,
