I have seen these available for the Chinese quads and was wondering are they worth it or do they actually give you any noticible power increase ?

 

sorta curious myself what those ebay ones are like

 

Tried a supposed top quality racing CDI on my Taotao 250 (CG200) and it was terrible. Kicked back when starting, wouldn't idle below 2500 RPM, pinged like crazy if you could get it started. Took it off without even riding it a mile.

 

Ok well that's disappointing will have to look else where for some power mods, thanks for the input

 

Theres some site with a father and son business, called kid and me, I think. They seem to install and run what they sell, so might be worth the time to contact them on performance parts.
