Default Issue with running

Bought 125 for the kids. My nephew was riding it out in the field when it made a loud clicking noise and then died. Any ideas what is going on?

Loud clicking and dying could be a lot of things, maybe timing chain tensioner failure. Guessing made in Red China?

Pull the spark plug out and turn it over. Report back.

Also, you need to be more specific on the year make/model.

Yes it is a Tao Tao 125. Not my choice for an atv. I know my description was pretty generic but maybe someone else has had this issue. Anyways thanks and never buy cheap garbage lol

Yeah, I see those taos on craigs all the time and for very cheap for a brand new one. There's a reason for that. A lot of problems with them as I am seeing on these forums too.

It could be magnet, maybe valves are damaged to cylinder head, remove valve cover and check if they moving.
