I'm so sick of this forum being all about this top speed crap. I'm sick of hearing it. Everyone in here must live next to the freakin' bonneville salt flats. Get over it and just ride your d*mn quad. Oh, by the way, my Raptor does 300mph in the 1/4 mile.

Amen, dude. The speed difference between the Banshee, Raptor and DS are about 5 MPH. Does that really give anyone the top speed advantage? I could lose 10lbs. and gain that speed advantage.

Top speeds are so pointless. Acceleration is whats important.

Actually, the DS 650 will beat the raptor by about 1 mph and the Raptor will beat the banshee by about 6 mph.

I have yet to be on a trail where I can get to top speed. Oh well, when it's time to head down the tarred road though, then top speed seems important...

I guess it depends where you live. We have a lot of long flat straight dirt roads that link up trails and pits, and a good top end can make up for alot if someone has better acceleration than you. And then if you have better acceleration and a better top end, you're laughing!

I care about top speed. I love to fly! I have and do hit top speed on the trails around here. My friend who has a banshee is making his faster, and he only rides in the woods. I ride in tight woods, as well as in some not so tight woods. I hit top speed alot of the time. There is about 20 mins. out of a 3 hour ride that I'm not at top speed, when riding. I usually ride up front becuz I like to go fast, but I do ride behind those who are faster, and I usually ride second or third on the weekends. So, to answer you question, I CARE ABOUT TOP SPEED.
The language you used is that of a tweleve year old, also. It is not necessary nor responsible of you to use that language when you KNOW there are people of young age that visit this site, regularly.

Ok, Im sure you really ride a 70-75mph for 2:40 out of 3:00 hours. Who are you tryin' to kid? Hope you don't meet up with Mr.Oak tree going that fast either because I know who would win. As for the language, if it is the language of a twelve year old as you say, then what does it matter? I think I speak for the majority when I say i'm sick of hearing the same top speed crap over and over and over and over.........
