Default Tire questions - Wolverine 350

The machine is a 2000 Wolverine 350. It's stock. I like the power and agile handling it has, reminds me of the sport quads I grew up riding years ago.

It's come time to put some tires on it. I've noticed that selection of 25" tall tires is much better than the 23 inchers it has now. However, I do not want to lose a noticeable amount of the machine's peppiness and handling.

If I were to go with the 25" tires, will they make the machine more tippy in cornering due to their taller profile? And will I notice any loss in acceleration? Will they overstress the stock drivetrain?

I'd rather not put a bunch of money into modifying the machine for more power to compensate for larger tires. I only ride the thing a few weekends a year and it just doesn't make sense to throw a bunch of cash at it...if I wanted something a bunch faster I'd just get another sport machine.
So...am I better off sticking with 23s (likely mudlites or black diamonds) or going to some sort of lightweight 25s?
