2004 sportsman no spark

Default 2004 sportsman no spark

I have a 2004 sportsman with no spark, it says to disconnect the black wire from the Cdi still nothing, I then checked ohm's from white to orange within spec but from orange to ground I have continuity detection coil now what's the next step replace the whole stator?it should be open sportsman 700

If the pick up coil checks out around 97 ohms. If you have that reading or close to it the pick up should be ok. If you don't have the manual it can help on stator checks and other trouble shooting guides Don't just throw parts at one. Here's a manual for 5 bucks..2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 Service Manual PDF Download

What do they mean by high tension wire to high tension wire my stator ohm's are correct now I'm moving threw the t/s tree

What do they mean by high tension wire to high tension wire? My stator ohm's out properly and primary wire to ground the wires going to the ignition coil?
