Hi new guy here just bought a 86 trx200sx with no spark changed cdibox and coil but still no spark the neutral and reverse light came on at he same time then when I changed the cdi box the reverse light went out while it was in neutral but still no spark when it turns over bad stator maybe? How do I test the stator to see if its bad?

 

Ohm's tester...usually you test for resistance and voltage for the stator...snoop around the web to get the specs...
