i was changing the oil to my 400 sportak ex drained reservoir and actual motor aproxamtly 1.8 q so after i drained oil i secure the reservoir and tank i aded 1.8 0f oil ad forgot to change the oil filter after i aded the oil u cranked the machine over for like a min the after it been runnin for a min a difrent smell and thicker smoke came out the exhaust when i noticed the smoke and smel i turned it off a d gavent turned it back in thikung im going to mess up motor ..what sgould i do somw one helo lol

 

If the oil reservoir or crank case vents to the air box check it first. You may just have an oily filter and box from any excess oil. That could be part of the reason it's smoking.
