Hi all, I have a 85/86 moto4 200. I put new friction and steels in an when I go to tighten up the cover an check to see is shifter if works is locked up. I can shift through gears with cover off fine. It seam like the shift shaft is binding on cover. Why? Thanks newbie

 

Recheck your work on the shaft,may not be fully inserted causing binding if it was working ok before. Either that or possibly a burr on the shaft or case bushing.
