92 Yamaha moto 4 350 issues

I have a 92 yamaha moto 4 350 its my very first ever wheeler and the only way it will run is with the choke on, and i cant figure out why. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Clean the carb out. Remove the float bowl, clean it out, remove the jets, blow them out with compressed air, check you can see daylight through them, blow the holes they came from out. Refit jets and float bowl. No rebuild kits, no special cleaners, no altering adjustments, just make sure you put it back exactly as it came apart. If it has done this ever since you got it, it is possible the previous owner has "fiddled" with it, non standard air filter or jets, but usually a good clean is all you need.
