2001 trailboss 325 electric help needed
#1
Nothing is working (fan lights and the biggest electric start) tried a few different battery's and even tried jump starting with no luck. Anybody have a clue?

did you check the connections from battery on through as well as the grounds? does the bike start and run with pull crank? not sure if that bike has the circuit breaks/fuses for the main electronics or not.

It was running with the pull start but it finally went yesterday and I haven't looked at the grounds or anything, wires to battery are clean and tight. Hoping it could be a blown fuse or something. Everything except the headlight was working and then just stopped all at once. Hoping it's something simple.

Check for voltage on either side of the main circuit breaker red wires. It's in a plastic pouch up from the battery on the frame. If voltage isn't passing through it,slice the pouch open and replace the breaker. You can get this breaker at any auto supply.

Jumping the breaker posts should allow power to the left control switch and dash. Then you should be able to see if the starter works. Needle nose pliers would work. If you don't have power, then the problem could be in the left control switch itself.

Well damn I tried it earlier and it didn't work I'm hoping that all my battery are just no good.

Looks like someone has been splicing wires, adding connectors. Best option for you is the wiring schematic so you can sort things out.2001 and 2002 Trail Boss were basically the same. Here's a cheap 5 buck manual that has the wiring diagram among other trouble shooting checks that can help you.2002 Polaris Trail Boss 325 Service Manual PDF Download

I found one for free on polaris website and it says they're just accessory leads. Does that mean I can wire something here so it it will turn on when the key is on so I don't have to run wire to the battery?
