Kazuma 125cc high rev slow moving

My Kazuma 125cc idles fine but when it's put into gear, it revs up but barely accelerates (like it's in a really high gear). What's causing this?

Sounds like it's clutch related whether it's a cvt or a clutch plate and centrifugal clutch design.
