97 trailblazer electric start

Default 97 trailblazer electric start

Hey everyone. I just bought a 97 trailblazer 250. Tryin to get the electric start working. The guy i got it from said theres a few wires unhooked he thought. I took the cover off by headlight and theres a couple wires unplugged. Is there a diagram or does someone know what wires go were? Also were is the damn starter lol

Wires go to the color coded terminals on the circuit board. He may have pulled the black wire from the reverse limiter. If that's the case leave it unplugged. The starter is at the bottom of the engine. Easier to get to if you stand it on its end and remove the bash plate. The starter wire leads to the solenoid. Check that the starter wire is getting power when you push the start button. If it is the connection may need to be cleaned or the starter is bad. If it's not getting power,then it could be a switch or solenoid problem.
