I have a 2003 Can Am Quest 50 two stroke. The 7 amp fuse by the battery immediately blows with the key in the off position. I found out with the stator disconnected my fuse will not blow. Once I plug my stator back in, the fuse blows immediately. All three of my wires at the stator (plug) WH, YL/RD, BK have continuity to ground. My local dealer says that is normal and sold me a new stator and rectifier. All three stator wires also have continuity to ground (stator casing). My fuse still blows with the new parts. I have worked on other ATVs and none of those wires have continuity to ground. Has anyone else seen this concern?
