My yamaha breeze 125cc Quad 2004 has been having problems. I'm pretty sure its not the battery, i bought the battery a few weeks ago, but it wont start. If my Uncle and I try connecting the cables from the car to the Quad it turns on and everything. When we take the cables off, it stays on and rides perfect. When it shuts off, it wont turn on again. Not even the lights turn on, no noises or anything, i dont know what could be going on, Any help would be appreciated

 

Depends where you are connecting the cables. If you are putting them onto the battery posts, either you have bought a dud battery or the terminals need cleaning. If you are connecting the negative jump lead to the frame or engine, you may have a bad earth between bike's battery/frame/engine. If you are connecting the positive jump lead direct to starter, you probably have a blown main fuse. You did connect the bike's battery the right way round, didn't you?
