Default Long-term (2800 miles) review: 2016 Honda Rancher 4x4 DCT EPS

Howdy friends,

For those of you considering the Honda Rancher as a potential purchase, I'll take some of the guesswork out of it for you. I purchased mine brand new from Western Honda of Scottsdale, AZ back in December of 2015. It's the TRX420FA2 model, which means 420cc, fuel injection, 4x4, power steering, solid rear axle, and dual-mode dual-clutch transmission that functions in both automatic and electric manual shift modes.

In a nutshell, I ride a LOT. My Rancher has become one of the most popular Ranchers on YouTube, and here is my latest video update, at 300+hours and 2800 miles.

It seems the Rancher is a good machine for you. I think they're overpriced myself for what you get but that's my opinion. I don't think I would want an atv as a substitute for a car or truck though. I own both a car and a truck and my atv is just for fun. I couldn't imagine actually having to use it as a 2nd vehicle. To me, atvs are just very expensive toys.
