I have a 2013 Polaris sportsman 800 Efi. It has a Polaris 3500 hd winch. It is broke in free spool. I found a Polaris 2500 hd winch with a burnt out motor. I was wondering if anyone would no if the parts would fit?

I know Warn made the winches back when I bought a 2006. Not sure now. If you have a manual you should be able to compare them before ripping them apart. If worse comes to worse that may be the final solution. Another thought is that they should have a small plate with model information on it somewhere.

 

Since neither one of them works on their own, try swapping the motor to see if it fits the other housing.
