I recently acquired a Polaris Xplorer 300. I have found the vin number but it doesn't seem to line up with anything that anyone is saying. It shakes real bad when I get it moving pretty good. I want to replace the rod ends as Ive noticed a little bit of play. But I wanna Make sure I get the correct ones ( I don't know what year it is). I'd guess 1996 but i'm not sure . Vin is X2573403X.

 

Should have a W969130 on one side of the frame down tube if it's a 96 Xplorer 300 with your serial number on the back side of the tube,unless it's been removed/ground off. Also check the recoil housing area if the engine serial number is still visible. The first two digits are the year model.
