i bought a durablue +4 axle and it came with 2 collars.
my question is does the 2 collars goto the inside of the axle then you put on the hubs? they just seem to fit a little weird. maybe when i torque the axle nuts it will set them all the way in?

 

Those are your adjustment. They go inside the hubs for the +4 width.

Are yours not going all the way in to seat tightly against the ledge at the end of the spline?

 

hand tight they dont go all the way. but when the axle nuts get torqued they probably will. i will probably put it on this weekened i been strapped for time lately.
