One of our customers has a 1994 Polaris Sportsman. Very nice water cooled 2 stroke that has given years of sterling service.
came in a couple of weeks ago saying it smokes & difficult to start. Did a compression test, pretty much Zero. Time goes on & they decide to go for a rebuild. Took the head & cylinder off & this is what happens when you put oil in the radiator header tank & not the oil tank..
What's surprising too is the stock 94 piston with the larger port holes. This oem piston was changed to the small port holes early on.23years,that's a record I'd believe on that piston.
Reminds me of a Husqvarna chain saw that I foolishly lent to a neighbor. I even gave em a 2 gallon can of premix gas. They had a better idea and used their own gas.

One word answer for anyone who wants to borrow a chainsaw from me. Nope. I'd rather go help out myself than let someone destroy my saws.
Some people are just too stupid to operate a 2 stroke anything. It is a bit surprising the injector pump still works. Most just eventually fail and you simply premix your own gas as you would in any other 2 stroke engine.
