I rode the hell out of my 2002 300ex one day and it was running great I parked it. The next weekend I started it and would not run without the choke 3/4 on and running at a high idle . After looking at the jets I just went ahead and bought a new carb. That wasn't the problem. Adjusted the valves to the right settings and Everytime I do it runs different and no where close to being right. . New spark plug also.air filter is clean . ???? I'm stuck

 

Got compression?

 

Not too much I guess because when I turn to top dead center before adjusting valves it wasn't that hard to turn.
