2002 polaris explorer 4x4 needs a new engine. What other bikes could I get this from?
2002 polaris explorer needs a new engine. Trying to find a engine for it is proving difficult. I was wondering what other years and models cross over.

A02CG38CA XPLORER 400
Depends on which one you have. The first one is a 250 but the engine out of any year model Polaris will work. Trail Boss 250,Trail Blazer250
Same for the 400. Any year model 400 engine from 94 on up to 2003 will work. As far as finding one ready to drop in is the problem.There are places that have them rebuilt,but pretty pricey.
