Honda Rancher 350 ES 2006 Stator location
#1
Having trouble locating the stator on my TRX 350 TE 2006. Is it between the recoil starter and the engine block? I started to pull of the recoil starter but the recoil pulley nut just spins when I try to torque it off. Anyone have any advice? Am I in the right spot? If so, how do I get that bolt off?

I also use an impact wrench, but I think Honda say you can put a bar between the lugs of the pull starter. You can remove the stator with the engine in place.
Ensure the peg on the gearchange position sender unit is lined up with the selector drum correctly when you put the casing back, and when tightening the starter bolt back up, use a torque wrench, as the flywheel gets mad tight if you overdo the torque on that bolt, and needs to come off to change a timing chain, or electric starter one way clutch.
