hi everyone, i'm new to the forums and hope someone put there could help me understand a question I have. I have a dvx400 and when a bad battery was in the machine it ran poorly, it would backfire at half throttle on idle, with a new battery it runs great. I know this is the problem but my question is why does a battery matter when it dosnt need it to get a spark like some machines.
