Located a rear differential out of a Sportsman that’s the generation right before mine. Square headlights style. The rear differential looks identical to the one in my 2005. Will it work? Guy told me he thinks it is 2” shorter. Any info is greatly appreciated!

 

Only ones I can say that will fit for sure are from the list that I gave you earlier. Possible it may fit,but you can look up his diff part number here http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp on the year and model he has to see if the diff has the same part #.
