i have a 2003 honda 350 can not get it to idle properly .I have rebuilt the carburetor ,it does put out bluish smoke if the compression is bad will this affect the idle ?

 

Can do, especially if it is burning oil as this fouls the plug. I have a 250 in at the moment which is a very heavy smoker, and tends to cut out just when you get it in gear and are about to rev up. A new plug improves things for a while.
