Default Polaris Sportsman 500 ho choke problem

I have a choke issue with my 05 sportsman 500 ho. It won't disengage. I pull the choke and nothing happens. The diaphragm in which uses a vacuum isn't moving the slide in order to limit the amount of O2 goes into the carb. Any ideas how to get the diaphragm to work again. I don't see any rips in it and the cable and plunger looks solid

thanks in advance

Brass choke plungers had a habit of corroding in the carbs over time.Loosen the choke cable lock nut, unscrew the adjuster from the carb. Helps also to remove the top cap and slide diaphragm to see the plunger.Soaking with PB Blaster,Liquid Wrench can help along with using a small pick to see if you can push the plunger out of the carb.Once out you can clean it and the choke plunger bore in the carb and usually the choke will work ok from then on.
