Default Flywheel Holder for 2004 Predator 500

Hi Everyone,

I need some help finding the correct flywheel holder for my 2004 predator 500. I'm not sure where to get it? I need by today so I cant order it because it will get here after the weekend.
Please let me know if you know of a store that has in. I live in California, Redwood city. Or if you know of a way to hold it with other tools that will not damage it.

Thank you,
Alex

In this video as an alternate means of removing the flywheel he mentions using a coiled nylon rope threaded into the spark plug hole to lock the piston, but really not recommended as you can cause some damage if not careful. I've done this before on hard to remove drive shaft couplers on water craft where you had to use a pipe wrench to remove the drive shaft coupler, but again you shouldn't have to do this with the proper flywheel remover and air impact on the Predator flywheel.Simple to remove as he demonstrates on this 2003 Predator 500.

Default Replaced flywheel and starter but still hearing loud noises

Hello,

I was able to buy a new flywheel, one-way gear and the starter but when I try turning it on, it still makes loud noises like something is inside. I check and everything looks good. I read that it can be the CDI. Sometimes it turns on with the choke and stays on for a bit then turns off. I'm not sure whats going on with it. Should I replace the CDI as well? or is the noise happening for another reason. Please help.

Thank you.

Cdi won't make any noise that you could hear. I'd retrace your steps. Cam chain tensioner or worn cam chain can make noise along with loose valves, piston slap, etc.
