Just picked up a 1995 Suzuki King Quad, starting to learn about it and figure out all the needed maintenance. Always fun learning a new machine.

I had it out in 10 inches of snow today and noticed that in 4wd, only the left front was turning when stuck. Wondering if anyone has info for me on what might need replacing. This is not normal, is it? I am assuming that the 4x4 gear shifter is fine, hence the left front turning. What part might need to be replaced?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Not sure if the 300 had diff lock as well, if it has, did you engage it? If it hasn't, this is fairly normal. If it hasn't a diff lock lever it will have a limited slip front diff, this works to a point, but if three wheels are spinning the limited slip is not going to cope and the other front will loose drive.
