Default Polaris Glacier II Plow System Mount

Hi, Everyone ! Was wondering if there is any way a Glacier II Plow Frame Part # 2878821 can be mounted to a 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570. This Plow Frame has been discontinued for some time. The Frame , and Blade were bought off craigslist and in such good shape I took a chance in finding a mount that would attach this to the machine , but no luck.... Before I scrap the whole thing and buy new , I thought I would ask .....Thanks Al

If you had a Glacier III or whatever mount they made your quad, there may be a way to cut and weld both mounts together. It could end up being a monstrosity worthy of Victor Frankenstein, but it's the first thing that came to mind.

ok, that is a good idea, its frustrating a little that these companies don't keep old stock on hand or at least have a universal mount of some sort, all mighty $ is what its all about i guess...... thanks for the idea tho, I appreciate it

You're welcome. Some plows you can take the blade off of the push tubes and buy everything you need except the blade. Then you have the problem of trying to bolt the blade on and it still may not be compatible. I'm not sure there is a good way to use what you have.

I have the same plow and I am looking for a mount to fit my 2002 sportsman 500. Seems like I might have to customize a mount since nothing is readily avail.

Hi Al, Do you still have this mount? My husband was wondering if you want to sell it if you do? He has the same one on his 2010 and it needs replacing. How much are you asking and would you be willing to ship it to Montana? Thanks, Kathy and Tom White email katwhite@bresnan.net or phone Tom's cell 406 421 2228 or home ph. 406 273 6018.
