Default Fuel leak carb hose

So I have a 95 300 express 2x4 my question is the small fuel line top right side of carb tees in to the bottom of carb then drops down along side engine, is this correct, my issue is when fuel is turned on it drains out that tube full bore.

Sounds like the needle and set are worn and allowing fuel to drain out the vent tube and over flow tube. I'd chunk that tee in the trash(most don't last this long anyway) run a separate drain line on the bottom of the carb past the bash plate to keep fuel off the engine. Run another line for the atmospheric vent on the side of the carb, zip tie it to the choke or throttle cable and let it terminate under the rear of the tank. Plus good quality rebuild kits are cheap on ebay and amazon to solve the leaking.Shindy 03-402.https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Shindy-...ZXMkUN&vxp=mtr
