Default 2005 artic 500 4x4

My quad is blowing the main fuse any suggestions? Battery is charged granddaughter was riding it just died, turned key on and nothing no lights, wont start, no ignition nothing, checked battery it's good, checked fuses main keeps blowing I know I have to follow the main wire and check for where its shorting I think? Also I am not a mechanic but I have a desire to fix this myself!

Yes you will need to follow the harness and check for any bad spots especially around the pod area where it can rub when turning.

1. I checked under the pod there is a big clump of wires maybe 30 total I do not see any area where it is rubbing, also took the whole back half of plastic off the 4 wheeler more wires coming out of fuse box. 2. Would be better trying to get a wiring diagram and checking wire for main fuse where the wire comes out of fuse box? That's what I'm goin to try next.
