My main battery grounding wire got pulled apart from the terminal connector. I tried to re-clamp it together but the wire is probably a 2guage wire and it was impossible to find a big enough terminal connector at home depot. It would not stay together from me using pliers so..

Can i solder this type of cable to the old terminal cable? I hate electricity and not sure on whether those metals will all play well together. The solder says its an alloy who knows what it actually is.
